CONFERENCE REPORT: Keppra Reduces Seizures Induced by Brain Tumors

CONFERENCE REPORT: CME Teaching Brief - MedPage Today....LINK FOR FULL ARTICLE"treatment with Keppra reduces symptoms but there are no data to show it impacts mortality among patients with brain tumors.

"Keppra is being used in patients who have had seizures while fighting brain cancers."

"Keppra, because it is not metabolized in the liver, may not interfere with other drugs taken by the patient that are also metabolized by the liver. Advise patients that Keppra appears to effectively reduce the occurrence of seizures in brain cancer patients."
