Brain Tumor survivor heads back to class
"Matt Claver has marked his progress by the small things: Speaking words. Learning to swallow. Eating a cinnamon-flavored Pop Tart. And, on Tuesday, going to school with everyone else. As the 16-year-old lugged his backpack out of honors physics class shortly before 10 a.m., he could have been any other teenager, at any other school, marking any other first day.

He isn’t. He is a Brain Tumor survivor, marked by the scar down the back of his head and the determination in his eyes. And he is, by all accounts, an inspiration....
